A door that sticks is generally due to faulty screws/hinges or house movement. We can re-hang your door for you, reset hinges and replace hinge screws, repair misaligned latches and replace locksets, trim your doors if needed and repair your door jambs.

Questions we get asked
My door has started sticking. Has it swollen?
Sometimes, with extreme wet weather wooden doors can swell. A door that sticks all year has not swollen — the door opening has moved, or the hinges have failed.
Can it be fixed without taking the door off?
Sometimes. Where a door has dropped because the hinges have failed it is generally due to screws pulling out. This needs the door removed, hinges fixed and door rehung.
Why won't the door stay closed?
This is nearly always because the strike plate no longer lines up with the latch, which can happen over time and with use.
