The silicone in my shower has gone black. Will cleaning fix it?
Discoloured silicone is generally due to mould damage. Bleach may remove some of the mould, but replacement of the silicone is the only way to remove it completely.
Can you put new silicone over the old?
No, the old silicone needs to be removed and replaced.
How long before I can use the shower again?
It generally takes 24 hours for the new silicone to dry.
